# Skip initial candles

Your instrument has a strange deployment or genesis candle? Just skip it with this component setting for the chart modules. Click the gear symbol at the top right and enter the number of candles you wish to ignore. Charts with ignored initial bars are marked with a \[ ! ] in the top left.
